What is it about your MBA program that students love the most?

Global Business Experience.

Jesuit values.

Washington, D.C. location.

Accomplished network.

Tell us about one new course that has recently been added to your curriculum in the last year.  How do you see this influencing the current cohort?

We’ve recently launched a certificate in non-market strategy open to all enrolled MBA students through a competitive selection process. This certificate explores the nexus of business, economics, and public policy and immerses students in the rich resources of Washington, D.C. The program is designed to promote a deeper understanding of the ways in which business success and principled leadership are shaped by complex regulatory, political, cultural, and social forces beyond the market and the relationships and interactions among firms, governments, and the public.

If you could invite a fictional character to lecture in one of your courses, who would it be and what course would he/she teach?  Why?

Georgetown McDonough is the premier destination for global business education located in an internationally diverse hub - Washington, DC. We prepare students to be global-ready leaders at the intersection of business, policy and society. As is such, we would invite Greek mythology character Atlas to the classroom. Atlas was burdened with carrying the weight of the world and heavens on his shoulders. We would invite him to our Global Business Experience consulting experience, a required course in which students consulting for a multinational company in another country. We would have him speak about how Georgetown MBA students graduate ready to take on the burden of improving the world around them through lessons learned from the curriculum, community, and career resources they are provided at McDonough.
