What is it about your MBA program that students love the most?

Opportunity to accelerate your career in a vibrant, collaborative community

Tell us about one new course that has recently been added to your curriculum in the last year.  How do you see this influencing the current cohort?

MBA Impact Investing Network & Training (MIINT) is a new course that we added to our powerful social impact specialization. The course is designed and taught by Bhagwan Chowdhry, the faculty director for Impact@Anderson who has been named one of Poets & Quants World’s Best B-School Professors. The 21st century calls for a holistic approach to business and social enterprise to help solve the most challenging issues affecting future generations. Students can tailor their curriculum with multiple specialization options that will guide them in building in-depth expertise in a chosen career, while also preparing to lead transformational change in any sector.

If you could invite a fictional character to lecture in one of your courses, who would it be and what course would he/she teach?  Why?

Olivia Pope (“Scandal”) should teach our Negotiations Behavior course! As part of our Executive Development specialization, this course provides opportunities for students to develop their negotiating abilities through practice that is grounded in rigorous analysis and reflection. From a purely professional standpoint, Olivia’s ability to think on her feet and the stories she could share would bring interesting perspectives to the course.
