What is it about your MBA program that students love the most?

Camaraderie among peers, supportive environment, diverse culture, and responsive faculty.

Tell us about one new course that has recently been added to your curriculum in the last year.  How do you see this influencing the current cohort?

The First‐Year Project Experience provides Simon MBA students the opportunity to help a client at a real organization answer an important question or achieve a significant business objective. Teams of students work together to deliver a set of well‐reasoned, impactful recommendations based upon a thoughtful analysis of the relevant facts. This course is mandatory for all MBA students and is designed to provide an experiential learning opportunity through which students develop key skills in teamwork, communication, and problem solving.

If you could invite a fictional character to lecture in one of your courses, who would it be and what course would he/she teach?  Why?

MacGyver would teach our First-Year Project Experience course and would instruct our students to use all the tools at their disposal to tackle any business problem. His approach to unstructured problem solving would allow students to see challenges in a new light and provide innovative recommendations to their clients.
