What is it about your MBA program that students love the most?

The collaborative culture and class size fosters strong, lasting relationships.

Tell us about one new course that has recently been added to your curriculum in the last year. How do you see this influencing the current cohort?

In response to student interest and the needs of our employers, there have been a number of additions to the curriculum, and even a new MBA/MS in Business Analytics dual degree option. In Emerging Issues in Data Analytics. Students examine the edge of analytics in manufacturing, health care, sports, logistics, financial services and other industrial sectors. They learn which analytical tools will be needed to run these businesses over the next decade, what types of data will be accessible, and how they will be fused with traditional data.

If you could invite a fictional character to lecture in one of your courses, who would it be and what course would he/she teach? Why?

Batman would teach “Practical Tools for Professionals”. He’s an extremely disciplined, yet ordinary superhero who uses many different tools to face villains. He’d teach ND MBA’s how to leverage everyday tools to their advantage. I can also imagine Albus Dumbledore teaching Business Ethics and Corporate Leadership.
